Seamless wallet vs Transfer wallet — which should you use?
Two supported models
MegaNodes supports Transfer and Seamless wallets on the same platform. You pick the model that matches how you already hold player balances — you do not need a second aggregator to switch later. Deep dive: wallet models.
How MegaNodes chooses Transfer vs Seamless
Wallet mode follows the agent Callback URL setting.
- No Callback URL (default) — MegaNodes treats the agent as Transfer. Credit moves into and out of the game wallet explicitly.
- Callback URL configured — MegaNodes treats the agent as Seamless and uses that URL as the endpoint for balance, bet, win, and rollback callbacks.
Clear or set the Callback URL to switch models without a second aggregator. See wallet models.
Transfer wallet
With Transfer, you move credit into and out of the game wallet explicitly (deposit / withdraw style). Round activity happens against that game balance. Operators often prefer Transfer when:
- Finance wants clear “in / out” ledgers for each session.
- Your core wallet is not ready for high-frequency bet/win callbacks.
- You want simpler mental models during early launch.
Seamless wallet
With Seamless, MegaNodes calls your endpoints for balance, bet, and win in real time. Player balances can be assigned flexibly — independently of how much sits in the operator/agent wallet — as long as your endpoints answer correctly and idempotently.
Seamless fits teams that already run a real-time wallet middleware and want every spin reflected immediately in the house ledger.
Shared platform capabilities
Either model still gets regional nodes (kr / de / ca), the aggregated game catalogue, BackOffice controls, RTP, and Bonus Call. Wallet choice is an integration style, not a feature silo. See Features.
Choosing in practice
- Start Transfer if you need speed-to-market and clean session reconciliation.
- Start Seamless if your product already assumes per-bet callbacks and flexible player balances.
- Talk through edge cases (partial failures, rollbacks, Bonus Call debiting) with us on Contact before locking the design.
Commercial top-ups work the same way regardless of wallet model — see Pricing.
